This is how the Boys like to roll in the car. Scout has the 2nd row and Sam has a puffy bed in the back. We had to buy storage bins so he would be able to see out of the windows. What ever they need to make them more comfortable. Right?!?
just some random photos along the drive. It’s about 350 miles from SD to LV. Took us about 7 hours. Traffic wasn’t to bad going to LV, but heading out it sucked. Might find an alternate scenic route for the way home
Totally excited to see me with the camera!
We are really lucky that these guys travel so well. No need for crates. No car sickness. One of the best things you can teach a traveling dog, is that an open car door is NOT an invitation to jump out. Or vice versa (jumping in when they are out of the car).
Finally made it to the hotel. We’ve stayed here before. Love it! the Element by Westin. I’ll post some photos of the room later. The ride in the elevator was a first for both of them. Scout was a little unsure about the floor moving while he was sitting
Funny! The first thing they did when we got to the room was check out the shower. Maybe because they haven’t seen a shower that big in a long time. My normal 2×2 shower with a handheld sprayer really doesn’t compete
Parents are staying at the Mandalay Bay casino, so we headed to the strip with them. We’ve never eaten at a vegas buffet, so we decided to give it a whirl. I’ve never liked crab legs before, but apparently I do now. Weird how our taste preferences change with time. This week I also found that I am now fond of raw celery. Weird. And NO, I am no pregnant
Disclaimer: I did not eat all of those desserts.
