zion national park

back in early april we left vegas and headed up to zion national park. there’s a section of i-15 where you weave in between huge rock mountains. you feel so tiny

we stopped for a quick bathroom break and both the dogs immediately plopped down. mike, on the other hand, was doing some unique yoga posesZion02

our campsite was pretty nice. we got lots of shade. the only problem was the campfires in the evening. we were in a valley so the mountains prevented the smoke from rising and escaping. after a couple of nights not being able to breathe, we headed out. while we were there, we did enjoy our adventures šŸ™‚Zion17

our site was quite spacious, with a nice dirt spot (which mike raked. nerd!) for big guy to rest inZion15

as with all national parks, dogs aren’t allowed off the main roads. i’m not sure if we were allowed to walk on this road or not. the road was only open to tour buses, so it was nice and quiet. when we heard a bus coming, we pulled over and sat. the drivers all waved, so i think we were goodZion11

we thought we could pay for the tunnel escort at the actual tunnel so we went on up. when we got there the lady said that someone should have asked when we entered the park. she was very nice and basically said not to worry and let us pass free. thank you nice lady!Zion22

no escort and nobody in front. it’s all mike and seymour. which was kind of coolZion23
