i’m posting about what i did today! this is my fastest post ever :D. i’ll catch up on missing posts soon.
today mike and i joined nina from wheeling it for a morning trip over to patos island to check out the lighthouse. thanks to beau at outer island excursions it was a smoothe 20ish minute trip over.
in 1792, spanish explorers galliano and valdez named the northernmost of the san juan islands, Isla de Patos (Island of Ducks), due to either a rock formation on the eastern end of the island that resembles the head of a duck or to the numerous ducks found on the island. the lighthouse was built in 1893.
what’s even cooler … patos island is the northwestern-most point in the lower 48 states!
this post’s theme: less words, more photos!
this guy was learning to parallel park. and you thought your car was hard!
nina, mike, me, and the camera strap. it was the only photo of the three of us all smiling. real life!
and this is how you take a selfie! we couldn’t figure out how to set the self timer on the big camera, so we just stacked the small one on top. classic
and that’s how you take a photo
nina sitting by the lighthouse. looks like a painting
what am i doing?
